WALKING IN THE SPIRIT
Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit​."
John 3:5-6
"But I say, walk by the Spirit,
and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.

For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit,
and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh,
for these are opposed to each other,
to keep you from doing the things you want to do.
​
But if you are led by the Spirit,
you are not under the law."
Galatians 5:16-18
​
As Christians, we may hear the phrase
'walk by the spirit', but many still fail
to truly understand what this means.
​
And for many who do understand,
they fail to grasp how to actually accomplish it.
​
We are diligent about helping
our church family understand this
and learn how to continually grow in this.
​
The reason being,
this is so important for developing
a truly intimate walk with God.
​
If we live in the Spirit,
let us also walk in the Spirit.
Galatians 5:25

Spirit Over Soul
The "Inner Man (spirit)"
is the part of man that is
"God-conscious."
​
The "Soul of Man" (mind, will, emotions) is the part of man that is "self-conscious."
​
The "Body of Man" is the part of man that is "others-conscious."
​
Understanding the difference between each part of our being is so important in learning how to correctly hear God and walk with Him.
